Låpsley has announced details for her debut album, ‘Long Way Home’. Due out 4th March on XL Recordings, the 19-year-old newcomer’s first work arrives after the five star-rated 2015 EP ‘Understudy’ and last summer’s ‘Hurt Me’ single.
The full-length includes ‘Hurt Me’, plus early tracks track ‘Station’ and ‘Painter’. There’s also ‘Love is Blind’, a brand new, all-absorbing cut that debuted on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show as a Hottest Record last night.
Holly Fletcher worked with XL’s in-house producer Rodaidh McDonald, with additional production from Paul O’ Duffy and BBC Sound of 2016 longlister Mura Masa, for the record’s title-track.
