Chairlift have a new video for ‘Moth’ cut ‘Crying in Public’. Unsurprisingly, there’s lots of crying in public, in a snow-covered park filled with skateboarders, on the train, and next to a fruit stand. The video also contains black and white footage of Caroline Polachek and Patrick Wimberly working together in the studio, Polachek shedding a tear during recording sessions.
The duo released their latest album ‘Moth’ in January. Speaking to DIY about their latest album, Caroline said “I had a sound in my head that I really wanted to get out, that was different to anything we had done before: it was like, juicy and emotional and highflying.”
Earlier today Chairlift announced a London gig this summer, at Camden’s Electric Ballroom, on June 9th. Watch the new Allie Avital-directed video for ‘Crying in Public’ below.DIY
