Vers van de pers: de nieuwe single van Muse is het nummer "Mercy" en voor de fans, een echte Muse track.
Dan weet je eigenlijk al genoeg, het nummer is vandaag uitgekomen en beleeft vanavond de primeur in de BBC1 Show van Annie Mac.
Maar wij hebben het nummer van het album Drones al voor je op gedoken van You Tube.
Het is de opvolger van " Psycho", "Reapers" en "Dead Inside".
Ik vind het een heerlijk Muse nummer, in de persinformatie staat het volgende over het nummer:
The opening line of 'Mercy' - "Help me, I’ve fallen on the inside" - is a reference to the protagonist [of the album] knowing and recognising that they have lost something, they have lost themselves." , "This is where they realise they're being overcome by the dark forces that were introduced in 'Psycho.'"
Het album gaat volgens Bellamy over: "explores the journey of a human, from their abandonment and loss of hope, to their indoctrination by the system to be a human drone, to their eventual defection from their oppressors".
