Er komt een nieuw album van Foals aan. Yannis Philippakis , de frontman van de band uit Oxford, vertelt over het nieuwe album dat het " heavier, poppier, weirder" wordt dan het vorige derde album Holy Fire.
Tegen Q magazine vertelde de zanger:
“”We felt that the spread on ‘Holy Fire’ was good but on this we wanted to push it out even further, so the extremes were further apart. The heavier songs are heavier, the popper songs are popper and weirder."
Op het nieuwe album werkt de band samen met James Ford.
Opvallend detail bij het album:
“We drank about 130 bottles of this red wine called Ardèche,” “I don’t think there was a point where we were all drunk.”
