Eindelijk: er komt nieuw werk van Robyn aan, ze heeft hier de samenwerking gezocht met de Noren Svein en Torbjorn van Royksopp.
Dat levert een mini album op Do It Again dat op 26 mei uit gaat komen, als voorproefje een stukje van het nummer "Monument".
En het is een goede combinatie geweest, Best of Both Worlds zullen we maar zeggen. Duidelijk Royksopp maar een snufje Robyn.
Zelf zegt ze over het project:
I started going to Bergen to work with Svein and Torbjørn and after a while it just felt more natural to think of what we were making as a joint adventure more than music for our separate albums. I love them both as people and as musicians so its pure luxury to do this release together
Ze gaan ook samen touren:
We’ve done shows together here and there and it’s a pleasure to be on tour with Svein & Torbjørn. I love them. I can’t say much about my set right now – I’m working on a lot of music at the moment and whatever is finished might be something I put into the set list. As usual I just hope people want to dance. I see pink lasers.
Een unieke combinatie die heerlijk klinkt.
